Finding peace and energy through yoga and music

This morning I woke up in a funky mood for some reason. I really don't even know why. I just was not feeling it but I ended up sticking with my commitment to do some yoga this morning and I'm so glad I did because after 20 minutes of yoga in my living room, I didn't have to go anywhere to do it. I felt like myself again. I felt light. I felt energetic. I felt positive.

I share this because oftentimes we wake up on the wrong side of the bed, as they say, or just not feeling the energy that we should or not enthusiastic about our day. My hope for you is that you find your own practice or your own ritual to help reset you to your natural state, which is one of peace, joy, energy. And so for me, that's yoga. I can always count on yoga or meditation or sometimes music. If I'm really feeling down, finding music that taps my heart, makes me feel something is another way to lift my mood.

So may you have a beautiful day and for the days that you aren't feeling it, hopefully you find a practice or a ritual to bring you back to yourself. Take care.
